“Beyond the Canvas” Presentations Inform May Art Exhibit

“Beyond the Canvas” are two presentations, May 5 and May 19, from 3- 5 p.m. by well-known artist, teacher and art expert, Paul Welch. These presentations are tied in with the exhibit, “The Joy of Great Works of Art,” which runs May 5- 27. Learn about the tremendous influences art legends have had on our lives, architecture, fashion and design. Learn what makes their works so influential, as well as their life struggles and triumphs.

May 5’s “Beyond the Canvas” presentation from 3- 5 p.m. will be a part of the opening reception for “The Joy of Great Works of Art.”

May 19 will be Professor’s Welch’s second and final presentation, also from 3 – 5 p.m.

The exhibit discussed, “The Joy of Great Works of Art,” and presentations are FREE and open to the public.
Held in the Cottage Gallery at Twisted Fish in Elk Rapids, refreshments will be served.
