Wild Plant Walks and Little Dwelling Talks

Wonderful ways to get outside and appreciate our beautiful environment in July!

Thursday, July 11, from 6-8:00 p.m., Sierra Bigham, of Bear Earth Herbals, will lead us on a Wild Plant Walk and teach us how to identify and harvest some of the wild flora right outside our doors. Using the plants and herbs that we collect, we will create herb infused vinegars to take home. The cost for this class is $40 per participant, registration is required, and materials are provided. Please dress appropriately for an easy hike through the gardens and woods. Please contact the gallery to reserve your spot.

Friday, July 12, from 6-8:00 p.m., Tonya Trolz, will provide a free demonstration of the Norwex line of cleaning products and introduce ways to clean without using harmful chemicals in your home. All are welcome and Norwex products will be available for purchase.

Saturday, July 13, from 1-3:00 p.m., Charles Murphy will join us for Doodle Day and take us on a guided “Home Tour” of his “Little Dwellings of Wildwood Lane,” the tiny shelters created in conjunction with his latest children’s book. Bring your doodle supplies or use the tools provided, and we will tour the gardens and doodle illustrations, real and imagined, as Charlie describes each little home’s inhabitants.
