Featured sculptors, Bernadette Zachara-Marcos and Margaret White from Twisted Fish Gallery’s current exhibit, “It’s Personal” will be at the gallery on November 17th for a Meet & Greet event.
Both will be sharing insight into their creative process in the Cottage Gallery from 1 to 3 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Zachara-Marcos will discuss and show her entire casting process, also bringing examples of clay mock ups, wire frames, and molds. White will be bringing her tools of the trade and show her creative process through sketches. She will demonstrate her technique for the sculptural elements in her two-dimensional work as well as her free-standing, three-dimensional pieces.
“We marvel at how a mold becomes a bronze masterpiece and clay comes to life in caricature. This will be an educational and engaging afternoon. We look forward to sharing it with you,” says Lynn Streit, gallery manager for Twisted Fish.
Don’t miss this opportunity to glimpse inside the mind and processes of two exceptionally talented artists.
