ART BEAT – gallery tour in Elk Rapids

To kick off Fall, we always get excited for ART BEAT… SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7TH from 10AM TO 5PM
Our bi-annual gallery tour takes you from Twisted Fish on the South end of town (off US 31) to Mullaly’s 128 Gallery (downtown) and onward to Blue Heron Gallery (Ames St) on the East side of town… all within a 3-5 minute drive from each other.
Collaboratively, we have been celebrating the wonderful array of art in Elk Rapids for nearly 20 years – with each gallery representing an eclectic mix of paintings, ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, woodworks, glassworks & more!
Visit all three, award-winning galleries for a chance to win prize give-aways and $100 Gift Certificates.
Mullaly’s 128: (128 River St, downtown)
- Will feature specials throughout the day & have a special drawing for selected art pieces at 4pm
Blue Heron: (131 Ames St, East Side of town)
- Dan Reszka, watercolor 10:00am – 12pm
- Lin Stonehouse from Traverse City, watercolor 11:00am – 2:00pm
- Kathye Begala, from Cedar, oils 12pm – 3:00pm
Twisted Fish: (10443 S Bayshore Dr, South side of town, off US 31)
- Art demonstrations all day long to include:
- Richard Stocker (drawing/doodling) 10am – 12pm *Richard may be here throughout the day
- Dave Rife (Woodturning) 11am to 2pm
- Bob Batchik (wood/resin sculpture) 11am – 1pm
- Charles Murphy (watercolor painting) 11am to 1pm
- Robert Scudder (oil painting) 12pm onward
- Mary Guntzviller (watercolor painting) 12pm – 3pm
- Margaret & Bill White (painters) 1pm – 3pm
- Dick Davis (metalworks) All Day
- Special gift certificates on the hour
