DESCRIPTION:To kick off Fall\, we always get excited for ART BEAT… SATURDAY\, OCTOBER 7TH from 10AM TO 5PM \nOur bi-annual gallery tour takes you from Twisted Fish on the South end of town (off US 31) to Mullaly’s 128 Gallery (downtown) and onward to Blue Heron Gallery (Ames St) on the East side of town… all within a 3-5 minute drive from each other. \nCollaboratively\, we have been celebrating the wonderful array of art in Elk Rapids for nearly 20 years – with each gallery representing an eclectic mix of paintings\, ceramics\, sculpture\, jewelry\, woodworks\, glassworks & more! \nVisit all three\, award-winning galleries for a chance to win prize give-aways and $100 Gift Certificates. \nMullaly’s 128: (128 River St\, downtown) \n\nWill feature specials throughout the day & have a special drawing for selected art pieces at 4pm\n\nBlue Heron: (131 Ames St\, East Side of town) \n\nDan Reszka\, watercolor 10:00am – 12pm\nLin Stonehouse from Traverse City\, watercolor 11:00am – 2:00pm\nKathye Begala\, from Cedar\, oils 12pm – 3:00pm\n\nTwisted Fish: (10443 S Bayshore Dr\, South side of town\, off US 31) \n\nArt demonstrations all day long to include:\nRichard Stocker (drawing/doodling)  10am – 12pm *Richard may be here throughout the day\nDave Rife (Woodturning)  11am to 2pm\nBob Batchik (wood/resin sculpture)  11am – 1pm\nCharles Murphy (watercolor painting)  11am to 1pm\nRobert Scudder (oil painting)  12pm onward\nMary Guntzviller (watercolor painting)  12pm – 3pm\nMargaret & Bill White (painters)  1pm – 3pm\nDick Davis (metalworks)  All Day\nSpecial gift certificates on the hour\nSnacks and refreshments all day long\n\n
