Artist Washburn Holds Watercolor Workshop Nov. 3

Calling all artists! Expand your skills and learn from an accomplished watercolor artist.

Betty Bea Washburn will hold a watercolor workshop here at our Cottage Gallery on November 3. The workshop runs from 10 am to 3 pm and lunch will be included for participants.

Focusing on “The Maple, the Birch and the Pine,” she will share her intuitive approach to watercolor painting. Techniques including floating and pouring will be addressed.

“The watercolor painting of tree formations can be versatile and entertaining. Trees can stand alone as a subject or can be part of a design including other subjects such as architecture, people and animals,” says Washburn.

Participants are asked to bring their own paints and brushes, with paper provided.

The cost is $110.00 per person. All levels of experience are welcome to join in this one-of-a-kind event, and need to be at least 15 years old.
