October Filled with Exhibits, Artists and Demos

The month of October promises to bring new works of original art, talented artists, art-lookers and lovers to Twisted Fish Gallery in Elk Rapids.

Four Petoskey painters, with varied styles and techniques, comprise the October exhibit, titled “4 Different Perspectives.” The month-long show and sale opens with an artists’ reception Friday, Oct. 6 from 6 – 8 pm. A free event, it is open to the public, with refreshments provided.

The artists are connected through their work and involvement with Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey. They are: Mike Coltman; Joan Gerigk; Bob Scudder and Ron Theisen. Their introduction to Twisted Fish Gallery will celebrate their varied topics, techniques and treatment depicting people, places and things inspired by our northern seasons and scenery.

“4 Different Perspectives” will be open Monday through Saturday, 10 to 5 pm through Saturday, October 29^th.
