The Origins of Street Photography with William Sievert

Street Photography is the most widely practiced art form in the world and is a powerful tool practiced by people the world over to show us fascinating experiences and people. This talk will look at the origins of Street Photography through the practices of four iconic photographers, August Sanders, Lisette Model, Diane Arbus and Vivian Maier.
William Sievert has a Master’s degree from San Francisco State University in Interdisciplinary Arts and teaches photography at Westshore Community College. He is a multi-media artist working in photography, animation and painting.
