DESCRIPTION:Have you had the chance to watch a painting come to life? To watch an artist prepare & develop their canvas is a treat and to see the final outcome can be magic before your eyes. Now pair that with sunshine\, gorgeous scenery & delicious wines and you’ve got the makings for a beautiful afternoon. \nJoin Twisted Fish Gallery as we welcome a selection of Plein Air painters to Mari Vineyards on Wednesday\, October 9th from 12 to 3pm. Eleven artists will be on the front lawn painting the magnificent views of the vineyards and coastline\, including: Sandra Ackerman\, Lindy Bishop\, Sue Bowerman\, Lori Feldpausch\, Brian Goff\, Mary Guntzviller\, Logan Hudson\, Ruth Kitchen\, Mark Mehaffey\, Louise Pond & Stephanie Schlatter. Each artist’s painting will be offered to view or purchase in the Tasting Room at Mari from Thursday\, October 17th through the Fall/Winter season. \nMari has selected four stunning wines for you to taste including: Simplicissimus (a crisp sparking Riesling)\, Totus Porcus (a full bodied white)\, Bestiary Ramato (a complex white) and Asa Nisi Masa (a lively red). This paired tasting flight is $24. In addition\, you can step into the Tasting Room where Mari features bottles from sparkling to red as well as sweet or savory small plates to share amongst friends. \nWith Autumn at our heels\, this is a fun way to embrace the cooler temperatures while still enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Make it a date or gather with friends. Mari offers stunning views of East Bay and cozy spots to sit in the sun or snuggle up by the fireplace.
