Doodle Art Day Returns Oct. 13

On Saturday, October 13, the gallery brings back Doodle Art Day. Enjoy socializing, refreshments and good music from 1 – 3 p.m.

People from diverse backgrounds are coming together to doodle at this popular event, held the second Saturday of every month.

Doodlers find that the artistic act improves their comprehension and creative thinking. Free and open to the public for ages 9-90. Bring paper and pen or favorite drawing implement.

“This free-wheeling group has no rules or boundaries, except to have fun. There is no right or wrong way to doodle and no rhyme or reason to what ends up on paper,” says Streit.

Walk-ins are welcome, but if you call ahead at 231-264-0123, the gallery will be sure chairs are provided for each participant. Held at Twisted Fish’s Cottage Gallery.
