Art Beat is first Saturday in October

On Saturday, October 7, Twisted Fish Gallery and two other art galleries in Elk Rapids roll out their welcome mats for Art Beat. The day-long community event features the award-winning galleries with their open house gallery walk from 10 am til 5 pm.

The Blue Heron Gallery, Mullaly’s 128 Studio & Gallery and Twisted Fish Gallery will feature demonstrations by watercolorists, acrylic painters, pencil artists and a blacksmith.

Three $100 gift certificates will be drawn from those visiting all three galleries during the day. Twisted Fish will also give away a $25 gift certificate every hour.  Refreshments will be served at all three art galleries.

Art Beat is a wonderful way to transition to Fall with color, art and fun.
