Kevin Barton is one of northern Michigan’s most collected artists and is known for his post-impressionist stylings of bold brushstrokes and bright colors that capture the essence of the area with a highly detailed yet imaginative and painterly approach.

Barton is an avid plein-air painter and is active on the art show circuit. Among his awards are second place, 2013 Manoogian Mackinac Art Museum – People of Mackinac Exhibition; Best of Show, 2012 Petoskey Art in the Park; Best of Show, Charlevoix Circle of the Arts, May 2012. In ninth grade, he won Artist of the Year at Harbor Springs High School.
