Delbert Michel: Showing at Crooked Tree Arts Center thru Nov. 27

We’re pleased that one of our artists, Del Michel, is showing works at Crooked Tree Arts Center!

Michel describes his work as “lyrical and colorful abstractions.” He tends to work in series and finds inspiration in a variety of places. Besides his abstract paintings, he also makes mixed media assemblage paintings and has several site-specific commissions.

He has an exhibit, “Delbert Michel : A Retrospective,” on display now through Tuesday, November 27.

Delbert Michel’s paintings and assemblages are lyrical abstractions inspired by color, atmosphere, and energy in nature, and the timelessness discovered in cultural artifacts. This exhibition provides a retrospective look at the artist’s 60-year career. Michel’s work has been exhibited across the U.S. and abroad, and is part of numerous public and private collections.
